Our multi-day tours of Turkmenistan last from three to seven days and cover the country's highlights: the white-marble capital Ashgabat, the Darvaza gas crater in the Karakum Desert and the Silk Road cities of Merv and Kunya-Urgench, both UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Most routes are built as overland crossings. You enter Turkmenistan from Iran, Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan and leave for the next country, so Turkmenistan becomes part of a longer Central Asia journey instead of a detour. If you fly in, the 7-day grand tour starts in Ashgabat.

Every route on this page includes the Darvaza gas crater, a licensed local guide and transport. Our help with the Turkmenistan e-Visa is included in the tour price; the visa fee itself is paid separately. Tell us your dates and border crossings, and we will adapt the route to your plans.
